Cetearyl Alcohol is a mixture of fatty alcohol of plant origin of approximately 30% cetyl alcohol and 70% stearic alcohol. It is commonly used as an emulsion stabilizer and thickener. It gives an emollient feeling to the skin and a revitalizing effect to the hair.
